Quartz Obsidian 60x120 Multi Polished Carving Porcelain Tile

Quartz Obsidian is the darkest tile in the range — a deep, near-black ground shot through with bright mineral veining. The crystal finish is what makes it work: on a dark tile, that glassy depth stops the surface reading as a flat black slab and gives the veining somewhere to catch the light.

Twelve faces keep the veining genuinely varied, and the carved surface adds texture that shows up strongly under raking light.

Where it works well

Feature walls, fireplace surrounds and vanity walls. Use a dark grout — pale grout lines cut a dark tile into a grid and undo the effect entirely. Best in rooms with decent natural or directional lighting.

Ordering

Allow an extra 10% for cuts and wastage, or 15% for diagonal and herringbone layouts. Sold by the box only.
